The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible isn’t a car that’s in dire need of modifications, but that hasn’t stopped SlyStyle from doing just that.

The German tuner recently completed work on a host of upgrades for the mid-engined sports car that tweak its looks while also adding a little bit of extra performance. These changes start at the front end where the Corvette has been equipped with a sharp new splitter with a gloss black finish that suits the aggressive shape of the car perfectly.

Elsewhere, SlyStyle has equipped the ‘Vette’s bumper with small aerodynamic canards while a set of new side skirts with pronounced fins also look the part. A new rear wing and rear diffuser have also been designed for the Corvette and, importantly for German customers, all parts are TÜV certified.

These parts don’t just add to the looks of the Chevy. SlyStyle notes that the new front splitter generates as much as 50 kg (110 lbs) of downforce while the rear wing attachments add an extra 80 kg (176 lbs) of downforce.

A set of one-piece satin black wheels have also been bolted on, measuring 20×9 at the front axle and 21×11.5 at the rear, wrapped in 255/30 and 325/25 tires respectively. SlyStyle has also developed lowering collars for vehicles equipped with the factory front lift system, lowing the ride height at both the front and rear by 20 mm (0.7 inches).

Some minor performance upgrades have also been made, including the fitment of a new K&N high-flow air filter, customized intake and exhaust ports, an oil catch can, and a Grail exhaust system with four 114 mm tailpipes. SlyStyle hasn’t said how much extra horsepower and torque its car has but says it is half a second faster in the 100–200 km/h (62–124 mph) sprint than the standard car. The tuner has confirmed it is also working to unlock the Corvette’s ECU in order to make further performance upgrades.
