Product recall for Honeywell - Dual gas and particulate respirator combination cartridges N-series Bayotwin filters and N-series filters presenting a chemical risk as consumers may not be afforded the expected and required level of protection from the cartridges.

Product: Honeywell - Dual gas and particulate respirator combination cartridges N-series Bayotwin filters and N-series filters

Hazard: The product presents a serious chemical risk as presenting as Honeywell has determined that some of the notified products do not meet Honeywell’s high-quality standards and also do not meet applicable regulatory standards of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation 2016/425. Some end-users may not be afforded the expected and required level of protection from the cartridges and thus could be exposed to potentially harmful particulates.

Corrective action: Voluntary recall/withdrawal of product from the market

Honeywell Safety Products (UK) Limited (the company) are defined and established under the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2016/425 as the manufacturer of this product.

Honeywell has determined that some of the notified products do not meet Honeywell’s high-quality standards and also do not meet applicable regulatory standards of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation 2016/425.

Some end-users may not be afforded the expected and required level of protection from the cartridges and thus could be exposed to potentially harmful particulates.
